I. JOB DESCRIPTION 

1. Legal tasks

Perform legal functions within the Company, including:

  • Provide legal advice regarding business activities and internal governance as requested by the units.
  • Research, review, and analyze legal regulations concerning the Company’s internal governance and business operations; provide input and propose solutions for arising legal issues.
  • Participate in researching and assessing legal matters related to the Company’s development strategies, business concepts, business projects, or new products, as assigned.
  • Draft, develop, and assist in reviewing and standardizing contract templates, legal instruments, and other Company documents.
  • Update and manage the Company’s internal regulations repository; ensure that information regarding the validity status and versioning of internal regulations is systematically managed and kept fully, accurately, and timely updated.

2. Compliance tasks

Perform compliance functions as part of the second line of defense within the Company’s internal control system, including:

  • Conduct legal compliance reviews of records and documents related to the drafting, amendment, supplementation, and issuance of the Company’s internal regulations.
  • Participate in developing, reviewing, updating, and finalizing policies, regulations, procedures, guidelines, and other documents related to compliance activities.
  • Support the implementation and execution of the Company’s compliance programs and compliance monitoring plans.
  • Monitor and assist in overseeing compliance with legal regulations, standards, practices, and other requirements binding on BSL, including but not limited to regulations on anti-money laundering; anti-corruption and anti-bribery; sanctions policies; FATCA; and other related areas.
  • Monitor, update, and summarize new, amended, or supplemented legal regulations relevant to the Company’s operations and business; assess their impact and propose necessary compliance actions.
  • Gather information and documents; review and analyze incidents showing signs of compliance violations; prepare or draft reports on review findings and propose remedial or corrective measures as assigned.
  • Assist in investigating reports or complaints from customers, partners, or relevant parties; participate in compiling information and documents, drafting reports, and proposing resolution plans for submission to competent authorities.
  • Prepare relevant compliance reports as required by regulatory bodies, the Parent Bank, or competent authorities within the Company.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.

II. JOB REQUIREMENTS 

Education/Training

  • Bachelor or higher degree in major of law.

Knowledge and technical skills

  • Knowledge of general law and specialized laws in the fields of finance, banking, enterprise, commerce, investment and other related fields.

  • Familiar with language and technical of writing.

  • Careful and accurate.

  • Coherent thinking, ability to analyze situations and information.

  • Communication skills, presentation skills and problem solving skills.

  • Proficient in the use of computer and office equipments.

  • Fluently use English at work..

Preference:

  • Having of working experience in equivalent positions at banks, financial leasing companies, or other credit institutions.
