The forum were also attended by the Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Mr. Nguyen Kim Anh, Mr. Can Van Luc – member of National Financial and Monetary Policy Advisory Council, Chief Economist of BIDV and 200 delegates and several representatives from relevant ministries, local governments, commercial banks, credit institutions, securities companies, domestic and foreign enterprises, journalists.

This is a prestigious event in the banking industry, organized annually by the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) in collaboration with The Saigon Times Group. Forum in 2020 took place with the theme: “Restructure and Handle Bad Debts: Results and Policy Recommendations”. The forum aims to evaluate the results achieved after more than 3 year of implementing the National Assembly’s Resolution No. 42 and 5 years of implementing the plan of restructuring credit institutions and handling bad debts in accordance with the prime minister’s Decision No. 1058, analysis of advantages, difficulties, shortcomings  and give recommendations on solutions during the implementation process.

At the forum, managers, experts, leaders of credit institutions actively discussed about the impact of Covid-19 epidemic on the economy and banking operations; discussed about suitable financial solutions and financial products to support businesses and the economy in the current conditions; predicted the trends of economic sectors in the coming time.

BSL’s representatives attended the forum and introduced financial leasing products to a large number of guests and businesses.
