I. JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Legal tasks
- Provide legal advice and propose action plans to address legal issues arising from internal governance or business activities of the Company.
- To propose legal solutions for the Company’s development strategies, business ideas, business development projects/new products.
- To develop and standardize contract forms and legal documents in the Company.
- To provide legal updates, including new legislations that are relevant and affect the operation and business of the Company.
- To manage the intranet page of the Company’s internal rules & regulations; ensure complete and timely updates on the validity and versions of internal regulations.
2. Compliance tasks
- To make legal due diligence, compliance check of the promulgation of internal regulations of the Company.
- To develop regulatory framework related to compliance, including policies, regulations, processes and guidelines for compliance; compliance programs, compliance inspections, and compliance monitoring.
- To monitor compliance with national or international standards, practices and regulations, which BSL is obligated to comply with (e.g. anti-money laundering, anti-bribery & corruption, sanction policies, FATCA etc.,).
- To conduct periodic or irregular on-site compliance inspections for staffs and units in the implementation of compliance.
- To investigate the cases with signs of compliance violations, make reports and warn of compliance to relevant units.
- To investigate the denunciations or complaints by customers/partners, and propose the handling plan to the competent authorities in Company.
- Make relevant reports as per requested by regulatory agencies, parent Banks or internal authority.
- Other tasks as assigned by superiors.
II. SPECIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education/Training
- Bachelor or higher degree in major of law; banking or relevant majors.
Knowledge and technical skills
- Knowledge of general law and specialized laws in the fields of finance, banking, investment, enterprise, commerce, and other related fields.
- Familiar with language and technical of writing.
- Careful and accurate.
- Coherent thinking, ability to analyze situations and information.
- Ability to work independently under high pressure. ü Communication skills, presentation skills and problem solving skills.
- Proficient in the use of computer and office equipments.
- Fluently use English at work

Preference
- Having at least 03 years of working experience in law firms or equivalent positions at law firms or credit institutions.
- Graduated from a training course in law practice (or currently studying).
