BSL Employee Conference 2022

On March 18, 2022, the Employee Conference of BIDV-SuMi TRUST Leasing Company., Ltd. (BSL) was held with the participation of all employees both in-person and online at the Head Office in Hanoi.

Complying with the labor laws in Vietnam and the strategy of “Human Development”, the conference reported the implementation of labor contract and collective labor agreement in 2021, the results of trade union activities in 2021 and orientation for its activities in 2022.

In 2021, despite impacts of the COVID-19 on the whole economy, the company still maintains a stable growth rate due to its flexible and active business plan. Therefore, the company has ensured and fully complied with the issued income regulations and the income increase of the employee as well. The company cooperated with the trade union to develop flexible working policies during the epidemic. In addition, the company and the trade union are always proactive in implementing activities to support workers with difficulties caused by the epidemic, people who are unfortunately infected with COVID-19, etc.

The company always prioritizes it employees’ development via training. In 2021, the company issued many new policies in training and human resource management to promote the development of employees’ skills. Besides, the company regularly organized internal and external training sessions; specifically, the company organized 46 internal training sessions, 17 external training sessions and 6 training seminars.

In 2021, following the Government’s direction on implementing solutions to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic, BSL has flexibly, timely and synchronously deployed solutions to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic to ensure stable operation and business continuity at the company. During the year, the trade union launched the writing contest about COVID-19 and received a positive response from employees, including 14 individuals awarded with excellent works, two individuals winning the competition of its parent bank’s trade union.

In addition to internal activities, the trade union donated to the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund of Vietnam to support workers affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, supported organizations and individuals in Bac Giang province and Ho Chi Minh City, and supported the company’s customers in Ho Chi Minh City to overcome the challenges during the pandemic.

On the basis of the achieved results, in 2022, the company will continue to strive to fulfill its business goals to increase income for its employees; strengthen training and skill development activities for employees; promote collective corporate social responsibility activities towards the goal of sustainable development.
