On October 10, 2025, the Youth Union of BIDV – SuMi TRUST Financial Leasing Company Limited (BSL) – Đà Nẵng Branch, in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hội An Tây Ward and local socio-political organizations, successfully organized the “Sinh Ke Program 2025” to assist disadvantaged households in the community.

BSL, in collaboration with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoi An Tay Ward and local socio-political organizations, presented livelihood support tools to disadvantaged households in the area.

The program was carried out across Bàu Ốc, Bầu Súng, Trà Quế, Nam Diêu, Hậu Xá, Xuân Mỹ, and Thanh Chiếm villages, aiming to support local residents in improving their economic capacity and securing more stable livelihoods. This marks the third consecutive year BSL Đà Nẵng has partnered with the local community in social welfare initiatives, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainable poverty reduction.

Practical Support for Sustainable Livelihoods

During the event, 8 households received essential livelihood tools tailored to their actual needs. These included chicken breeds and feed, kumquat seedlings, bicycles, sugarcane juice carts, pushcarts, and stainless steel food display cabinets, with a total value of nearly VND 44 million, mobilized through socialized funding sources.

This practical support is expected to help beneficiaries actively engage in small-scale farming, animal husbandry, and micro-business activities — enabling them to generate sustainable income and improve their living conditions. The program also reflects the strong collaboration between local authorities, socio-political organizations, and the business sector in advancing community development.

Creating Positive Community Impact

At the handover ceremony, representatives of BSL Đà Nẵng’s Youth Union and management team met and listened to the stories of local households, alongside Ms. Nguyễn Thị Hoa Phượng, Standing Committee Member and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hội An Tây Ward.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa Phuong expressed her gratitude to the BSL for their consistent companionship, which has helped create livelihood opportunities for many local families.

Ms. Hoa Phượng extended her sincere appreciation to BSL for its consistent support, which has created practical opportunities for local families to improve their livelihoods. She also highlighted the positive outcomes the program has achieved over the years.

A notable case is Mr. Nguyễn Văn Tâm, a beneficiary of the 2023 program, who earned approximately VND 90 million from selling kumquat trees at the end of 2024. Likewise, several households supported with poultry farming in 2024 have completed their first production cycles, enabling them to reinvest and expand their livelihood models.

A representative of BSL Đà Nẵng branch reaffirmed the company’s commitment to sustainable development and its dedication to working alongside local authorities and social organizations to implement more impactful community programs in the future.

The “Sinh Ke Program” is a significant humanitarian initiative that provides timely and practical assistance to households facing difficult circumstances.
