In the first two months of 2025, BIDV-SuMi TRUST Financial Leasing Company (BSL) organized the program “Meals for Kids – Sharing Love, Receiving Smiles” at the Central Pediatrics Hospital. The program donated 500 free meals to children in need and their families, demonstrating BSL’s commitment to social responsibility and care for the community.

Spreading Love, Making a Positive Impact on the Community

With the desire to encourage the spirits and share difficulties with sick children receiving treatment at the Central Children’s Hospital – one of the leading hospitals in the country in pediatrics – BSL members dedicated 500 free meals to those in need through the program ” Meals for Kids – Sharing Love, Receiving Smiles” which took place on 9/1/2025, 13/1/2025, 20/2/2025 and 25/2/2025. The program was organized in collaboration with the Youth Union of BSL Hanoi Branch, the Trade Union, and the company, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and collective efforts towards the community.

According to Mr. Viet Anh, Secretary of the Youth Union of BSL, “For families facing difficulties with children being treated at the hospital, in addition to health concerns, they also have to deal with other challenges such as living and food expenses. Through this program, we hope each nutritious meal will not only help alleviate financial burdens but also bring warmth and significant encouragement to the patients and their families”.

A representative from the Central Children’s Hospital stated that as a leading hospital in the country, it welcomes a large number of patients for examination and treatment every day. Many of the hospitalized children are from remote provinces and face significant economic challenges, making long-term treatment even more difficult for their families. The hospital appreciates the meaningful and practical activities of BSL and hopes the company will continue to support and accompany the hospital even more in the future.

For these young patients, the most valuable thing is to regain their health, return to school, and enjoy time with their families and friends.

Ms. Hien Vu, a BSL member participating in the program, shared: “Every individual can become a support for those around them, and sharing is a way to build a strong and compassionate community. We are not just giving meals; we are spreading encouragement, helping the children hold onto hope as they overcome their illnesses.”

Through this meaningful activity, BSL hopes to continue maintaining and expanding charitable programs, contributing to support those in difficult circumstances. The community’s joint efforts not only give the young patients additional strength but also create a more humane and connected society.
