BSL organized Sinh Ke Program Season 2
With the purpose of assisting, supporting, and creating livelihoods to help farmers develop their economy, rise out of poverty, and stabilize their lives, on June 21, 2024, the Youth Union of BIDV-SuMi TRUST Leasing Company (BSL) – Danang Branch collaborated with the Farmers’ Association and Women’s Association of Cam Ha Commune, Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province to implement the Sinh Ke program season 2 for farmers in Bau Oc, Tra Que, and Dong Na villages.
The participants in the program included Mr. Nguyen Hai Long – Director of BSL Danang Branch; members of BSL Danang Branch; representatives of the Cam Ha Commune leadership; representatives of Bau Oc, Tra Que, and Dong Na village leadership; and the households receiving livelihood assistance.
The program presented 100 25-day-old chicks, 3 bags of animal feed, and 300 mandarin seedlings to 2 Women’s Association members; 200 chicken breeds, 6 bags of animal feed, and 300 mandarin seedlings to 3 Farmers’ Association members who are in difficult circumstances in the commune.
At the program, the representative of the Cam Ha Commune leadership expressed deep gratitude to the BSL collective for continuing to accompany Cam Ha Commune and implementing the Livelihood program season 2, creating conditions for households to stabilize their lives, making an important contribution to the goal of sustainable poverty reduction for the people, and laying the foundation for the locality’s economic development.
On this day, the Youth Union and the BSL Danang leadership had the opportunity to visit the mandarin orange gardens of the households who had received livelihood assets in 2023 and saw the excitement of the farmers as the mandarin orange gardens were thriving and growing well. The BSL members felt very happy that the Sinh Ke Program Season 1 had brought many positive results, and they hope the demonstration mandarin orange gardens will bring the people a stable source of income in the future.
The livelihood asset distribution program is a meaningful and humanitarian activity with practical support for people in difficult circumstances, creating opportunities for them to be motivated to rise up in life. The program is not only BSL’s companion with the people, but also the desire to make Vietnamese society more sustainable and prosperous.
In 2024, BSL will continue to adhere to the goal of sustainable development and strengthen community projects and activities to enhance corporate social responsibility.
