BIDV – SuMi TRUST Leasing Co., Ltd relocates our Head Office to Hanoi and establishes a new branch in Ho Chi Minh City.

On 21st August 2017, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decision No. 1761/QD-NHNN amending the establishment and operation license on the relocation of BIDV – SuMi TRUST Leasing Company Limited’s Head Office (BSL) and Document No. 6621/NHNN-TTGSNH approving the establishment of Ho Chi Minh City branch of the Company.

 Accordingly, BSL’s new Head Office is now relocated to 20th Floor, Block A, Vincom Building, 191 Ba Trieu, Le Dai Hanh Ward, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi and BSL Ho Chi Minh City branch is located at 472-472A-472C Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Ward 02, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.

 BSL’s establishment and operation was approved and licensed on the basis of conversion from BIDV Finance Leasing Company Limited, a company with a 20 year history of operation, under License No. 33/GP-NHNN dated 12th April 2017 by the State Bank of Vietnam. BSL is the first leasing company in Vietnam operating as a joint venture between a domestic bank (BIDV – 50% equity) and a foreign financial institution (Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank – 49% equity).

 Relocating our Head Office to Hanoi and opening a branch in Ho Chi Minh City are strategic steps to develop market share and expand our customer base in both Vietnam and Japan.
