The appointment of the Chairman and Member of the Board of Members for the term 2020-2023

Based on the resolution No. 001/2022/NQ-BSL.BoM on BSL BoM member appointment dated January 4, 2022, the Board of Members of BIDV-SuMi TRUST Leasing Company (BSL) announces the appointment of Mr. Tanaka Shigeki to the position of Chairman of the Board of Members and Mr. Takahashi Satoshi to the position of Member of the Board of Members for the term 2020 – 2023.

Mr. Tanaka Shigeki has more than 35 years of experience working at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank with in-depth experience in banking, corporate finance, real estate, M&A, Corporate Planning and Corporate Governance. Currently, he is the Director, Senior Managing Executive Officer of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank.

Mr. Takahashi is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BSL from 2019 and has nearly 30 years of extensive experience in Corporate Finance, Debt Capital, Marketing, Credit & Risk Management, Credit Business Planning at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank. He has held senior positions and executive positions in international markets such as Singapore, Thailand, the UK and other countries.

The appointment of the Managing Executive Officer for the term 2021-2024

Based on Decision No. 741/2021/QD-BSL dated December 3, 2021 of Chief Executive Officer on the appointment of Managing Executive Officer, BSL announces the appointment of Mr. Kuriyama Noriyuki to the position of Managing Executive Officer of BSL for the term 2021-2024.

Mr. Kuriyama has more than 28 years working in the structured finance and corporate finance business field. He joined Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank in 2004 and possessed 17-year working experience in many managerial positions in Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank in Global Credit Investment, Finance Product Solution, Real Estate Nonrecourse Finance, Risk Management, Wholesale Business Planning, etc.
