On March 13, 2023, BIDV-SuMi TRUST Leasing (BSL) held the 1st meeting of the Board of Members to review business activities in the first 3 months of the year. The meeting was held online between the BSL Head Office in Hanoi and Tokyo, Japan.

The meeting was held with the participation of the members of the Board of Members, the Board of Executives, the Board of Controllers, Heads of the departments of BSL Head Office.

At the meeting, the Board of Members (BoM) highly appreciated BSL’s business results in the first quarter of 2023. Moreover, the BoM recognized BSL’s efforts in strategic orientation and specific business goals for the next period. In addition, the Board of Members focused on keep pursuing the long-term vision of “Become a trusted partner”.

At the same time, the BoM identified 2023 as a challenging year for the economic situation in general and for BSL’s business activities in particular. Inflation and global recession affect the Vietnamese economy, especially the export industries. The financial leasing industry in particular and in the banking and finance sector in general are adversely and unpredictably affected, etc., which requires BSL to concentrate on management.

In conclusion, the BoM highly appreciates BSL’s performance in the first 3 months of the year. Especially, the BoM emphasized that it is necessary to actively share the company’s goals, vision, and values with BSL members. It is a basis for achieving the goal of sustainable development, creating consistency, professionalism and becoming a TRUSTED partner with stakeholders.
